There's Roses Among The Thorns, LOOK!

I was so against Facebook, frankly I still am. I really dislike the fact the a lot of people feel the need to post their really personal business. What bothers me the most is when people post negative thoughts about their children, spouses, or family. I also hate that  there's really no personality to it. Bland, boring, dull if you ask me.  Facebook reunited me with a jr high crush, pffft, could've gone a whole nother life time without that connection.  Now I will say this, Facebook has connected me with some really truly lovely people such as old girlfriends from jr. high (Apparently they dated the same dork I did, thanks for the warning!) Some other truly inspiring photographers, and even some forgotten family.  So while I still hate Facebook, I will keep it. Sometimes God puts roses among the thorns you just have to LOOK!

The Reasons I Love My Grandma's House

quilts (there's one in every room)

dandelions (weeds but still love them)

old stamps (from all around the world)

strays (you couldn't tell it to go away either)

Lace curtains (too girly for me but I love them)

There are so many things I love about my grandparents house. There are still things that have been in the same faithful spot ever since I was a small child. It feels so comforting to go over there and see these things that take me back to my childhood. I hope they bring back memories for you too.

It's the Little Things.....

One of My Guilty Pleasures

There's just something about scrambled egg sandwiches, or is it just an Okie thing? I could eat a dozen at a time, which probably explains a lot. These include scrambled eggs, sausage, shredded cheese, and of course mayo. Mmmmm, try not to bite your screen.  I wont be enjoying these too often. Lol.

Maybe, Just Maybe!

Lou Holtz once said, "Life is ten percent what happens and ninety percent how you response to it."  I remember reading that and thinking to myself how true is that? We all have the ability to make a difference in the world, or at least in the life of another. I have decided that I must make some major changes in my life if I want to be something more! Something great. We all have something deep inside us just waiting to be revealed. I believe in you. I believe in me. Changes are coming and it's going to be wonderful. Wont you join me?
